Intern Recruitment

Step 1: Resume Submission

Step 2: Hackathon

Take part in a team-based hackathon, showcasing your technical and collaborative skills

Step 3: Evaluation

After the hackathon concludes, we will evaluate and extend offers to stand-out candidates

Step 4: SC Start

If selected, you will be part of a group hands-on training led by our team. This will prepare you for success at SC and in your future endeavors. 

Step 5: Final Projects

After training, you will be integrated into existing teams, to apply your newfound skills to real company projects and gain valuable work experience. 

Step 6: Employment Opportunities

Upon completing the internship, avenues for both part-time and full-time employment opportunities become available. This stands as the most direct route to a secure position at SC.

Selected candidates will have a phone interview with one of our Team Leaders to discuss their technical experience, career goals, and personal hobbies.

Step 3: Technical Interview

Selected candidates will be invited to an on-site challenge, where they will have the opportunity to get to know more of our team members and complete a series of technical challenges. 

Step 4: Evaluation

After the interview process concludes, we will evalute and extend offers to stand-out candidates. 

Step 5: SC Start

If selected, you will be part of a group hands-on training led by our team. This full-stack training will prepare you for success at SC.

Step 6: Joining the Team

It is official! You are now fully onboarded to the SC team, collaborating with clients and primed for rapid advancement opportunities.

Paid Internships

Every summer, Steele Consulting offers Paid Software Development and Digital Product Design Internships. This begins with a 6-week course that covers full stack development, followed by opportunities to join a team and work with our actual customers for the remainder of summer. These internships are open to all levels of experience (from High School through Graduate School).

Group Health Insurance

Steele Consulting provides health insurance for all full-time employees. With options for PPO, HDHP HSA compatible plans, with options for Dental, Vision, Disability, and more.

Paid Time Off

Full-time employees accrue up to two weeks of vacation per year. This increases to three weeks at your five year anniversary, and 4 weeks at your ten year anniversary. Steele Consulting also has eleven paid holidays per year.

Retirement Matching

Steele Consulting provides a simple IRA plan, and will match your contribution up to 3% of your total gross salary, including benefits and bonuses.

Continued Education

Education and Learning is important to us. Steele Consulting offers a percentage match of approved continued education courses, degree plans, or certifications for all full-time employees.

Sick Time

While sick time is not accrued in the traditional sense, Steele Consulting offers sick time to all employees. We believe in keeping everyone safe and healthy, and encourage people to remain home and recover.

Hybrid Work Environment

You can come to the office a few days per week, the rest of the time you can work from home.
